"What if it's not the same dog from the pictures?" I asked.
I wonder if I will be a good dog owner? What if she doesn't like me. What if she gets sick. What it..., what if..., what if?
Oh the world of Whatif.
I was willing my heart to melt and to just "know" that we were making the right decision. But I was nervous. We owned a family dog once, and that dog was neglected. I didn't want this to happen again. I wanted to feel confident and secure that I could be a good pet owner. But trepidation caught hold of my heart, and I was feeling anxious.
As we pulled up to the white Volkswagen, I could only see a little ball of fur. Brown fur.
And then I saw her face.
It was love at first sight.
I cradled her little body into mine and she looked up at me and licked me on the lips.
Born April 7, 2013. Border Collie.
She's spunky and energetic. A little, brown fluff ball. And we are going to love her silly!
Any and all dog training tips are welcome. :)
I heart Aero... My advice you already know, love her silly. :) Vail
